However, the was a flood of guidance, which was ultimately mixed in credibility, blurred by a number of companies offering training, with websites giving out instructions based on opinion and often misunderstandings.
In short not many people were absolutely certain what applied to them or not, and now the policies are in place, it’s worth a health check to ensure your business is compliant. Marketing has changed dramatically. Record keeping and permissions need to be water tight. The fines could be simply devastating should a case be pursued.
